Kuils River is situated amongst the tranquil winelands of the Northern Suburbs, also referred to as the gateway to Cape Town's wine routes.   Situated in Kuils River, is the well-known Zevenwacht Wine Estate.  A large part of the residential area has a very good view on Table Mountain and the Simonsberg mountains towards Stellenbosch, including the Kuils River Golf Course.

The pride of the town is the newly built Netcare Medi-Clinic on the left-hand side of the main road as one enters town from Bellville, which is serviced by quite a number of GP’s and Specialists in various fields. 

Kuils River is within 20km from the V & A Waterfront and 10km from the Cape Town International Airport. Kuils River is also very centrally situated with quick access to the Strand and Paarl.  All major shopping malls namely, Zevenwacht Mall, Tygervalley Centre, Fairbridge Mall, Somerset mall and the newest addition CapeGate, are easily accessible. Business district expanding as more franchises establish their footprint in Kuils River.
